Shatavari – traditional application as a female adaptogen.
Oat Seed – Oats have been used as a restorative remedy particularly nervous exhaustion
Holy Basil – helping to reduce the physiological impact of stress, such as prolonged cortisol elevation. In this context, holy basil is a wonderful mood stabiliser, and stress reliever.
Agnus Castus – helping normalise other hormones and reducing both prolactin and the estrogen-to-progesterone ratio.
Sage – well known as an antispasmodic, inhibiting serotonin and acetylcholine mediated tissue contractions
Fennel – most often used as a digestive tonic, to ease bloating and digestive cramps.
