High Potency Fertility for Women contains a combination of 18 vitamins, minerals and antioxidants tailored for women preparing for conception and trying for a baby. Formulated by expert nutritionists, this targeted formula includes folic acid at an appropriate level to increase maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.

This formula also includes zinc, a trace mineral known to contribute to normal fertility and reproduction, along with vitamin B6 to support the regulation of hormonal activity. It also includes iron bisglycinate, a form of iron that is gentle on the digestive system. Iron contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and contributes to normal cognitive function.

Zinc, copper, selenium and vitamin C all contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress as well as contributing to the normal function of the immune system. This ‘oxidative stress’ appears to be a major factor in many human diseases.
