Cleavers, also known as goosegrass in a vegan capsule.

Also known as Goosegrass, because geese like to eat it, Cleavers is indigenous to Britain and Northwestern Europe and has a long history of use in Wales. The Welsh know Cleavers as ‘Cynghafen’ and it was considered by the Physicians of Myddfai as one of the most important of indigenous herbs. Potential applications: Beneficial for improving lymphatic detoxification. Use in cases of swollen lymph glands such as tonsillitis. Skin disorders due to poor lymphatic circulation – the cause of psoriasis may be partly explained by this. Kidney / bladder discomfort and general oedema (water retention).
Some researchers have found that Cleavers can help aid circulation in the elderly.
Externally it can be used for applying to burns or abrasions.
Cleavers is slightly blood pressure lowering (hypotensive) and anti-inflammatory.
Known contraindications: Not recommended for use during pregnancy or lactation.
Directions: As a food supplement, take one to three capsules daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
